Here are some photos of a new shutoff that was designed by Pete Athans and adapted by Don Jensen.
It's very simple, cheap, and seems to be working well in tests. Pete used basically the same design in Fast combat and had 6 successful shut-down events in flyaway situations. More information on Mark Rudner's Monthly F2D News (January 2009). |
